In 1981, I deposited a cruise and gave it to Doug for Father’s day (of course he had to pay for the rest), we became absolutely hooked on cruise vacations and over our 45 year marriage, we have been on over 90 cruises of various durations and quality.  Doug is much more adventuresome than I am, and cruising has allowed us to travel most of the world, while having clean, comfortable accommodations and great familiar food!  As the story goes, one thing led to another and in 1994 we opened Cruise Holidays of Las Vegas.  In 1995 I retired from the Clark County School District and have been managing the agency since that time.  I truly enjoy going to work in the morning and having the opportunity to meet new clients and play a major part in their selection of the right cruise based on their vacation needs and desires.  Over the years our agency has grown and prospered due to our original commitment to employ outstanding cruise specialists who provide friendly, knowledgeable, personalized service.  We have been recognized as one of the top producers with Celebrity Cruise Line, Crystal Cruises, Princess Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

I have been a Las Vegas area resident of since 1947, and graduated from Las Vegas High School and UNLV, before attending law school.  During my  career as an attorney traveling across the country, it amazed me that my travel agency never really took the time to understand what my travel preferences were.  For many years I thought about owning an agency that really provided individual personalized service to its clients. As I examined the travel business, it became clear to me that selling airline tickets and renting automobiles was not going to provide the opportunity to really become a specialist with the knowledge and time to truly serve travel clients.  In 1994 I decided to become an owner of a cruise only agency in Las Vegas.  The intent was to provide exceptional service with personal attention making sure our clients were on the “right cruise” for their individual needs, desires and expectations. Over the years we have expanded our service and expertise to provide a vacation package on sea or land to virtually anywhere in the world.  By not having to take orders for airline tickets all day, our staff is able to focus on becoming vacation destination and cruise experts.  Bonnie and I believe that our success is based on the personal service and attention we and our staff give to our clients and our willingness to go the extra mile to serve them and particularly help when unexpected difficulties surface - the kind of help one will not get on the internet.

Stacha and her husband, Danny, started cruising in 1986.  Their first cruise was to the Caribbean on Sitmar Cruises Lines’ Fairwind.  It was such a wonderful experience they took the whole family the next Christmas on Sitmar's Fairsea to the Mexican Riviera.  The kids, then 15,16 & 18 said it was the best Christmas ever!  Since then they have cruised 30 +  times to many destinations.  She started in the travel business in 1992 as a full service agent. But, cruising was her passion and in 1995 she  opened our office location in Henderson. There are many types of cruises. Some people go to relax, not caring if they get off the ship. Others go for all the activities on board.  Personally, Stacha loves  all of it, but is definitely a port person!  She can’t wait to get to the next port, especially if in some exotic location.  There is always some new adventure just around the corner. Her favorites have been Australia/New Zealand, Scandinavia and Russia, the Middle East and Egypt. When you get right down to it Stacha has yet to meet a cruise she didn’t like.

Sandy Ewan has been in Las Vegas all her adult life and worked for two other agencies in Las Vegas...each until they closed. After trying "retirement" for a few months, she decided she missed the travel industry too much, and sent us her resumé. After speaking with her, she was hired on the spot! Her warm, friendly personality makes her a pleasure to work with, and clients love her. Sandy is married and has two adult children. Her husband, Roger, is a retired Clark County school teacher. Sandy and Roger enjoy escorting groups of clients to new and interesting parts of the world.

Peggy Sue has worked in travel off-and-on for over twenty years. Travel seems to 'get in one's blood' and even though one may do something else, in Peggy's case, owning her own coffee distribution company in Texas, you always return to the travel industry! Fortunately for us, Peggy Sue moved to Las Vegas in 1999 and returned to love of travel! Her infinite knowledge of all areas of travel extend well beyond cruises, and we are very lucky to have her. Peggy Sue is single and enjoys Las Vegas which facilitates her being near her grandson

Doug and Bonnie have known Bob Page since we met on a cruise in 1989! After retiring from his government job as a U.S. customs agent, he began working for us as an outside sales agent while living in Yuma, Arizona. We are pleased that he and his partner, Tommy, moved to Las Vegas in 2006. Bob will continue to sell cruises to all his Yuma friends as well as the new people he meets in Vegas. Although Bob works out of his home, he is a great asset to the office and puts a smile on every face he sees.

Pat is truly the heart of our office. She does all the work that makes the rest of us look good! She is a true master at courtesy and she's always willing to help. As the receptionist, she is also "the voice" of Holiday Cruises & Tours, and we could not have a better one! Pat has lived in Las Vegas since 1959, and it is amazing how many of our clients have known her for many years! Pat is truly a bright spot in our office, and we don't know what we would do without her.

Susan is our behind the scenes accounting, computer and administrative assistant.  Susan’s knowledge  gained while working for several years with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has been invaluable to our office.  Even though Susan works only part time she is someone we are delighted to have on our staff.
